Pine Cones

"My paintings lean to the realistic and detail oriented although I continually fight that aspect of my personality. I strive for looseness in my paintings all the while picking up that small brush. I enjoy painting a variety of subjects although I am drawn to landscapes of trees, beaches and rocks. I feel that I have just begun and that there is a whole lifetime of learning ahead of me. What fun!"
